1956年6月生于北京。清華大學(xué)經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)博士。1982年起在北京市密云縣工作，歷任團(tuán)縣委書(shū)記、鄉(xiāng)黨委書(shū)記、縣經(jīng)貿(mào)委主任、縣委常委、縣委副書(shū)記、縣長(zhǎng)等職務(wù)。1993年任北京市人民政府副市長(zhǎng)。1998年負(fù)責(zé)組建北京首都旅游集團(tuán)有限責(zé)任公司，出任首旅集團(tuán)董事長(zhǎng)、黨委書(shū)記。2012年7月3日，當(dāng)選為中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨北京市第十一屆委員會(huì)委員。
Duan Qiang, born in Beijing in June 1956, graduated from Tsinghua University with a doctor of economics. Since working in Beijing Miyun County from 1982, he has successively acted as a secretary of the Youth League Committee, the County Party Committee, the Village Committee and the Party Commmittee, as well as a director of the County’s Economic and Trade Commission, a member of the County Party Committee’s standing committee, vice secretary of the Country Party Committee, county magistrate, etc. Duan Qiang became deputy mayor of Beijing Municipal Government in 1993, set up BTG(Beijing Tourism Group) in 1998, and then being chairman and secretary of the group’s party committee up to now. He was selected as a member of the 11th Beijing municipal committee of CPC(Communist Party of China) on July 3rd, 2012.
