1977年進(jìn)入錦江飯店當(dāng)廚師，開始接觸酒店業(yè)；他敬業(yè)樂業(yè)，成長迅速，工作不久，就很快成為錦江飯店的業(yè)務(wù)骨干，頗受領(lǐng)導(dǎo)前輩器重；1983年，被選拔進(jìn)上海旅游專科學(xué)校干修班學(xué)習(xí)深造兩年；1986年任團(tuán)委書記；1988年，獲獎學(xué)金赴德國進(jìn)修，接觸國外先進(jìn)的酒店管理理念；回國后獲得了擢升，出任錦江飯店副總經(jīng)理；先后擔(dān)任北京國際飯店副總經(jīng)理、上海龍柏飯店總經(jīng)理、上海國際會議中心大酒店總經(jīng)理等高管職位，原南京旅游飯店行業(yè)協(xié)會會長。2017年榮獲“改革開放40年中國酒店卓越貢獻(xiàn)獎”。現(xiàn)任金陵酒店管理公司總裁。
